Knitting Kits
The kits include all needles, yarn and accessories needed to complete the item. Some kits include more than one pattern, and yarn for more than one item. Read the desciption carefully to find out the details. For projects where only a tiny amount of yarn is needed for decorative elements, such as flowers, then small amounts of yarn are included, rather than whole balls, which saves you a considerable amount of money. You can still buy the pattern only - just click on the pattern button on the drop down menu. if you order by post and include an SAE then there is no postage for patterns. If you order by paypal, then patterns will be sent by email. Post and packing is FREE for knitting kits.
Freya's Easter Basket
The perfect gift for friends' kids at Easter time, or for little ones doing an Easter Egg hunt. The kit includes two balls of aran weight soft cotton yarn, Rowan All Seasons Cotton, in mustard and beige (enough to knit about 8 baskets altogether), 4mm and 7mm needles, and bound jewelry wire for the handles. Well, who can resist a little friend's request to knit her much-loved bear something to keep him warm? This pattern for a teddy's jumper uses 100g cream tweed DK yarn and oddments of Rowan felted tweed in wine, charcoal and blue for the fair isle panel. It is knitted with 4mm needles.
